Maths in Action Books
Throughout the department, the main resource is Maths in Action, a series of books specially written to address the Scottish curriculum at all levels.
S1/S2 Resource Books
Core Students' Books
- Caters for mixed ability or setted classes with exercises graded at three different levels.

Intermediate 1 & 2 Students' Books
The Students'Books address the learning outcomes specified in the Higher Still arrangements document, and provide complete coverage of the topics required. Each chapter includes:
- Starting points that give practice of key knowledge required for the chapter.
- Plenty of questions for practice and consolidation. Highlighting of work beyond minimum C grade competence.
- An end-of-chapter review to check understanding.
Intermediate 1 & 2 Teacher's Books
The Teacher's Resource Books contain details of the curriculum content covered in each chapter of their respective Students' Book, together with brief background notes. and includes:

Higher Mathematics
Providing complete curriculum coverage of Maths 1(H), 2(H) and 3(H), this book is structured to follow the order of the Higher Still course framework and includes:

Statistics for Higher Mathematics
Full coverage of the statistics unit is provided in a separate book Statistics for Higher Mathematics - which covers everything your students need for this option. The book also provides a review of the Data Handling content of Intermediate 1 and 2 for students new to the subject and includes:

Preparation for Assessment (Higher)
The book is structured in the following way:

- Unit Assessment tests with a test for each outcome at minimum C grade competence
- Preparation for Course Assessments with an exercise for each outcome extending the scope of the PCs and providing A/B grade evidence
- Practice Papers with and without a calculator for final examination practice

S6 Advanced Higher
