Our Showcase
When we arrived, we set up our stall amongst displays from schools across Scotland. We took our rockets, colloid-stress balls, magic tricks, crystallised decorations and flying models as well as the cacti and watermelons we planted this term. We tried to take examples from each of the different activities we have tried this year. Two big posters and a brilliant slide show displayed our other (more messy) experiments and helped to make our stall the most colourful and eye-catching there.
The judges came and asked us about our exhibit and our Science Club. I told them all about the Science Club, about the things we have been growing and the mess we have been making (!) I also told them how great Mrs Pritchard was and how she showed us all these things behind science. The judges were a bit scary and asked loads of questions but I answered them all really well and they told us how great our stall looked. They also gave us some advice enterprise and about things to try for next year. I said that I would give half the money to the school and half to science club.
