Bursaries
Higher School Bursaries may be granted at the discretion of the local authority to any pupil, from a family on low income, who remains at the school beyond the statutory leaving age of 16. The amount of the award is assessed on a nationally agreed scale in relation to the total family income less certain allowances.

Grants
Parents who wish to request help with the cost of uniform may apply to the Region for a clothing grant and footwear grant. The address for such a request is:

Clothing grants must now be used to purchase appropriate school dress.
