Parents' evenings are arranged on the basis of one each session for each year in the school. The purpose of the evening is to allow parents to meet the teaching staff and discuss the progress of their child in each subject. They normally start at 4.00pm and finish at 6.30pm. A booking system is operated to enable parents to arrange appointments with teachers in advance. The meetings are normally held as follows:-
- 1st Year - February
- 2nd Year - March
- 3rd Year - December
- 4th Year - October
- 5th & 6th Years - October and March
Full details of arrangements are issued prior to each Parents’ Evening. Parents who wish to meet with their child’s Pastoral teacher should either phone the school or hand in a note to the pupil’s Group Tutor.
There are also a number of other Parents’ Evenings at which topics of educational interest are discussed .
