You yourself are responsible for looking after your own property (coats, schoolbags, PE kit, money etc.). It does help if clothing, kit and bags are clearly marked with your name. Expensive jewellery should not be worn to school.
Money
You should, wherever possible, avoid carrying large sums of money in school. If this is unavoidable, then the money should be deposited at the school's Reception Office and reclaimed at the end of the school day.
When taking PE, you should give any money or valuables to your PE teacher and reclaim them at the end of the period.
Mobile Phones
The loss of property should be reported immediately, although normally responsibility cannot be accepted by the school for such loss or for damage to property. You may carry mobile phones, but they must be switched off while in class.
